Dr. Maria Symeonidou-Sideris, Sideris is an EU Projects Consultant for Youthnet Hellas, has worked in the UK, USA and Greece and has working experience from the private, public and academic sector. She is experienced in submitting proposals and managing EU funding projects for Local Authorities and NGOs. She is currently working as an EU Projects' Manager for the Technical Institute of Heraklion Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
She will train participants on EU funding opportunities for the Youth and on the European Youth Capital contest. She was a member of the team who received the European Citizens' Prize and the UNESCO's 8th Youth Forum award for the project You.Re.Ca. Her motos are "The sky is the limit" and "E pluribus unum".
Manos is an Adult Trainer specialized in Human Resource Management and a Trainer of Trainers. He has a 15-year experience in the designing, implementing and evaluating educational programs and activities for organizations in the public, the private and the third sector. Manos has taken part in various European and international projects related to adult education, non formal and informal learning and his papers have presented in international conferences, such as the International Transformative Learning Conferences, and published in scientific journals. He is the author of the educational material for the international e-learning project YouReCa, which was nominated the UNESCO youth label of quality and excellence in 2013 and as chairperson of the NGO Youthnet Hellas, Manos received the European Citizen’s Prize from European Parliament in 2013. He will train participants on soft skills development
Rena Sopasi is a founder member of NGO Youthnet Hellas and deputy president for the period 2014-2015. She has organized more than 150 youth exchanges (Youth in Action Programs) on behalf of NGO Youthnet Hellas(2009-2011) giving the opportunity to more than 500 young people to participate in such European Projects in many EU countries. She was a project manager of the project FYGO (Feeling Younger by Getting Older), that has been selected as a featured Success story by the Directorate-General of Education and Culture of the European Commission. She is an adult educator from 2004 to present and has more than 4.500 hours of teaching experience in various educational environments of the public and the private sector. Her collaborations include Life Long Learning of the General Secretariat of the Government, Technological Institute of Crete, Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism, Prefecture of Crete, Festos Municipality etc. She will train participants on Youth Entrepreneurship.
Anastasia Oikonomoula is an experienced youth worker with more than five years of experience and a free launch trainer working in both national and European projects for youth and designing and implementing sessions using non formal education methods (games, workshops, energizers). She is specialized in projects regarding coaching, human rights, capacity building, creative thinking, social entrepreneurship, participation and inclusion of disadvantaged youth, diversity and social cohesion, European citizenship. She has worked under the 4.3 Youth In Action, Mobility of Youth Workers "Creativity, Social Entrepreneurship and Youth Work " for an italian NGO, CESIE in Palermo, Italy. Anastasia has implemented various workshops on the combat of hate speech under the No Hate Speech Movement of CoE, in Greece in various schools and public in general. Anastasia Oikonomoula is the Vice president of Youthnet Hellas since 2015 and she will train participants into using coaching as a method for youth work.
Stella Ioannou is an EU projects manager. She has participated in BTM, ATOQ and SOHO TCs organised by SALTO, in a Youth for Democracy project and several TCs and seminars with different topics (Intercultural dialogue, Volunteers’ management, Disabilities, EVS etc). She is a project manager for EU projects such as Europe for Citizens, Erasmus+, EYF, EEA Grants etc. Since 2015 she organized several youth exchanges that took place in Greece. She is a registered activist of the campaign No Hate Speech Movement of the Council of Europe. She was an EVS volunteer and an EVS mentor for more than 3 years

Dimitris Makrystathis is currently the President of Youthnet Hellas. He holds great experience working with international organizations and institutions on youth related issues. He was a member of the “Advisory Council on Youth” of the Council of Europe (2014-2015), and member of the Organising Team of the "World Forum for Democracy" (2014 & 2015 editions). He is also member of the “Global Working Group on Decent Work for Youth” (2013-now) of the International Labour Organization and cooperated with the European Commission in the framework of the “Youth4Europe” programme. His fields of specialization are: Decent Work for Youth, Youth Unemployment and Employability, Youth Entrepreneurship, Youth Participation, Youth Democratic Co-operation, European Youth Policies, Digital Citizenship and Youth Activism. He will train participants in European Youth Policy and European Youth Forum.
